Everyone should get the chance to play with an 85 at some point in their life. It’s a totally different way of playing the game, and once you get used to it, it’s the most fun you can have on a tennis court.
The great man himself, Roger Federer, used an 85 in the early part of his career, and there’s no doubt using such a precise weapon will have honed his technique in preparation for winning all those Grand Slam trophies. What racket was it he used? Why, the legendary Pro Staff 6.0 85, of course.
And now Wilson have brought it back in signature Federer style – all black, with silver details, including a silhouette of Roger on the throat of the racket. Spec-wise, you’re looking at a 16/18 string pattern and a 12 point headlight balance (unstrung), both of which allow easier generation of spin, along with a 17mm flat beam. Then the really good stuff: the 85 inch headsize and unstrung weight of 342 grams. If you have the arm strength to handle the mass and the precision to use the small headsize to its potential, you’ll find yourself enjoying even the most difficult shots.
Seriously, if you fancy yourself as a skilled player, you’ve got to give the Pro Staff RF 85 a go.

Measuring Your Grip Size
Choosing the right grip size is a vital part of playing tennis. The right grip size will make your racket feel natural and comfortable.
Use a ruler and measure (in inches) from the crease fold in your hand, to the top of your ring finger. Please see table below:
Note: It is always better to go for a smaller grip size, as you can easily increase your grip size with over grips.
