Used by Milos Raonic, Gael Monfils and perhaps most famously, Serena Williams, the new Blade delivers control for the big-hitting and aggressive modern game. Upgraded with Parallel Drilling for a larger sweetspot and Braided Graphite + Basalt for enhanced feel, it belongs in Wilson’s Attacker category for players who attack the ball early to dictate play inside the baseline.
The Wilson Blade 98 18x20 offers classic control for those players looking for a more traditional feeling racket with a dense string pattern.
Parallel Drilling provides a consistent, more forgiving string bed response while dramatically increasing the sweet spot. Together with Double Holes, which works by increasing the diameter of the grommet holes so the string bed is allowed to flex more when impacted by the ball, it results in a smoother feel and added power.
The Wilson Blade is constructed with Braided Graphite + Kevlar for a pure, solid and consistent feel that Wilson racket users have enjoyed for decades. It also dampens vibration and enhances touch and control.
The Blade series also benefits from Wilson’s renowned Amplifeel 360 and Amplifeel technology, which provides enhanced feel with increased racket power and reduced weight. It features a full Basalt expanded handle and a new shock absorbing engineered urethane polymer.
The Wilson Blade 98 18x20 is compatible with the new Sony Smart Tennis Sensor, which records accurate shot data alongside real-time video.

Our demo programme is easy: follow the simple instructions below and test any racket for two weeks!
1. Click “Demo now” on the rackets you wish to demo. You can demo a maximum of two rackets at a time.
2. Pay for the rackets as normal. You’ll receive them within the standard timeframe of the delivery option you select.
3. Try ’em out!
4. Return the rackets in good condition. You’ll need to pay postage.
5. We’ll refund the price of the rackets (minus delivery) when we receive them back from you. Or, if you liked a racket so much you want to buy it for real, let us know and we’ll send you a brand new one at no extra cost.
How much is it?
We initially charge your credit/debit card for the full price of the rackets plus delivery, and you’ll also have to pay for return delivery. When we receive the rackets back from you, we’ll refund the price of the rackets minus our initial delivery charge. So, in effect, the overall cost to you is just the postage for the rackets’ round trip.
How long can I demo a racket for?
A maximum of two weeks.
Can I keep the rackets I demo?
No, we have dedicated demo rackets, so please send them back in good condition ready for the next person.
How should I return the rackets?
Send the rackets back to us using a courier of your choice. You’ll need to pay postage, and you must make sure you have a tracking number for the parcel – use recorded delivery and ensure that the rackets are insured to their full value.
But what if I decide I like a racket?
Return the demo rackets as normal, including the completed Dispatch Note to let us know which racket you liked, and we’ll send you a brand new one at no extra cost.
When might I not get my money back?
If you return the demo rackets in what we deem to be a non-satisfactory condition, we reserve the right to withhold your refund. Rackets MUST be returned in a condition that allows us to demo the racket to another customer.

Measuring Your Grip Size
Choosing the right grip size is a vital part of playing tennis. The right grip size will make your racket feel natural and comfortable.
Use a ruler and measure (in inches) from the crease fold in your hand, to the top of your ring finger. Please see table below:
Note: It is always better to go for a smaller grip size, as you can easily increase your grip size with over grips.
