One of the most popular power-focused rackets in the game, the Babolat Pure Drive’s combination of manoeuvrability and explosive shotmaking potential make it an attractive proposition for players of any level. The latest update to the series sees Babolat fine-tune the frame’s lay-up composition with their new HTR (High Torsional Rigidity) System, which maximises energy transfer for more efficient generation of power – in short, even more explosiveness.New SWX Pure Feel technology, meanwhile, improves the filtering of vibrations by integrating SMAC’s proprietary shock-absorbing fibres further up the shaft of the racket, resulting in an overall superior feel compared to previous generations, and some satisfying sounds on ball impact. At 300g with a 100 sq in headsize and the much-loved open 16x19 string pattern, we’d recommend the regular Pure Drive for intermediate or advanced players who like to play an all-round game, mixing power, spin, and touch.

Measuring Your Grip Size

Choosing the right grip size is a vital part of playing tennis. The right grip size will make your racket feel natural and comfortable.

Use a ruler and measure (in inches) from the crease fold in your hand, to the top of your ring finger. Please see table below:

Grip Size
USA (inches)
4 1/8
4 2/8
4 3/8
4 4/8
4 5/8

Note: It is always better to go for a smaller grip size, as you can easily increase your grip size with over grips.
