Get ready for a new tennis experience with the Babolat Play and Connect, the world’s first connected tennis racket, which allows all types of players to live a unique experience based on progression, fun and sharing.
Simply put, the incredible Babolat Play and Connect consists of a sensored technological device located inside the handle of the Pure Drive racket that records downloadable play data via Bluetooth to a smartphone such as total number of shots, type of shots, first and second serve analysis, including power and spin, ball impact locator (sweetspot frequency) and power. You can also use the ‘tag’ button on the buttcap to review a match, set by set, or analyse a training session by the number of shots, average power, energy used, playing time, shot consistency and more.
The application is built around 6 universes: Pulse, Analyse, Evolution, Community, Versus and Skills. Get an overview of your game with PULSE, which is a dynamic interface that changes according to the power, technique and endurance of your game. ANALYSE your game data – the more you know about your game, the better you perform. Follow your EVOLUTION step by step – go back in time and track the progression of your game by comparing past sessions. Challenge your COMMUNITY and see where you stand in the global ranking and by category. Compare your performance VERSUS other players and friends on a one-to-one level. Improve your SKILLS by getting an easy look into which strokes you often use and which ones you haven’t implemented into your game.
The app is made up of 8 levels in much the same way as a game console consisting of Newbie, Rookie, Ace, Prodigy, Superstar, Fanatic, Galactic and Unlimited. To complete a level, you’ll need to hit a certain number of strokes (forehands, backhands, serves and smash). Once made, you’ll access the next level. But you’ll have to play regularly as your Skills level will decrease.

Measuring Your Grip Size
Choosing the right grip size is a vital part of playing tennis. The right grip size will make your racket feel natural and comfortable.
Use a ruler and measure (in inches) from the crease fold in your hand, to the top of your ring finger. Please see table below:
Note: It is always better to go for a smaller grip size, as you can easily increase your grip size with over grips.
