The new HEAD Speed features Graphene Touch, the next generation of Graphene technology, focused on dampening vibrations and improving overall feel, without sacrificing the power benefits of Graphene as a material.
The result is a more flexible racket than previous generations, softening the effects of ball impact and making the Speed a more accessible proposition for intermediate players. The Jr edition, however, increases the beam height by two millimetres to 24 millimetres, making the racket more stable and supportive.
The racket’s 16x19 string pattern suits players looking to put action on the ball, while a 230 gram unstrung weight makes it arm-friendly.
Novak Djokovic’s favourite icon, the falcon, adorns the side of the racket as part of the Speed paint job, signifying the swiftness of a predator hunting down its prey, and the aggression needed to dominate the court.
“Less shock, more wow” is HEAD’s slogan for the new Speed range, and it’s a good summary – if you want a control racket that feels great in the hand and sets you up for spectacular play, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Measuring Your Grip Size
Choosing the right grip size is a vital part of playing tennis. The right grip size will make your racket feel natural and comfortable.
Use a ruler and measure (in inches) from the crease fold in your hand, to the top of your ring finger. Please see table below:
Note: It is always better to go for a smaller grip size, as you can easily increase your grip size with over grips.
