HEAD has given its legendary Instinct range of tennis rackets a complete overhaul with a new design and updated technology. The series now incorporates HEAD’s updated GRAPHENE XT technology, which makes the centre of the racket 30% stronger for enhanced weight distribution, perfect manoeuvrability and a faster swing.
The Graphene XT Instinct MP delivers the perfect combination of increased power and superior handling with a softer feel and less vibrations than ever before.
The Head Instinct GrapheneXT MP is compatible with the new Sony Smart Tennis Sensor, which records accurate shot data alongside real-time video.
Discovered in 2004, Graphene consists of a single two-dimensional layer of carbon atoms. This material has a breaking strength 200 times greater than steel, which makes it the ultimate substance for creating new HEAD tennis racket frames with exceptional properties. Graphene technology allows for the first time an optimal redistribution of weight in HEAD rackets. Through the use of Graphene in the shaft, the weight in the middle part of the racket can be reduced. Instead, weight can be shifted from the racket shaft to more functionally relevant areas in the tip and grip. This unique construction provides players with an unmatched manoeuvrability and an increased swing weight. In other words, a racket with Graphene is easier to swing and enables even more powerful shots.

Measuring Your Grip Size
Choosing the right grip size is a vital part of playing tennis. The right grip size will make your racket feel natural and comfortable.
Use a ruler and measure (in inches) from the crease fold in your hand, to the top of your ring finger. Please see table below:
Note: It is always better to go for a smaller grip size, as you can easily increase your grip size with over grips.
