Working as part of the DynamotionFit system with the flex eyelets it allows the upper to flex and move with your foot, giving a snug fit while simultaneously locking the heel down for a stable ride.
By combining U4ic and U4icX midfoot compounds Mizuno have created cushioning that is lightweight, high in comfort, and offers high levels of rebound. The Wave technology helps by flexing on impact and providing a snap back with every toe off.
It also uses the SmoothRide system which is a design of the shoe that minimises rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during the transition. This means that you get a smoother ride through every step.
A full-length ventilation system runs through the sole of the shoe that removes heat and humidity from the foot, while X10 carbon rubber is used in high impact areas of the outsole to give increased durability.
