The new Blade features Countervail technology, a unique layer of carbon fibre within the frame of the racket that disperses the energy of the ball on impact, reducing vibration and minimising fatigue. The feel of the racket stays the same, but you expend less energy stabilising the arm during each shot. It really makes a huge cumulative difference – according to a study conducted by the University of Minnesota, you experience 30% less racket vibration, fatigue is decreased by 10%, and as a result you have 40% more control over shots when nearing exhaustion. It’s proven in other sports too: bike manufacturers use it in frames built for the gruelling Tour de France.
The Blade is still a big-hitting racket, falling into Wilson’s Attacker category for players that like to swing from the baseline, but with Countervail, it offers greater control than ever before. The 16x19 string pattern ensures power and spin potential, and those attributes combined with the control of the new technology make this a formidable racket.

Measuring Your Grip Size
Choosing the right grip size is a vital part of playing tennis. The right grip size will make your racket feel natural and comfortable.
Use a ruler and measure (in inches) from the crease fold in your hand, to the top of your ring finger. Please see table below:
Note: It is always better to go for a smaller grip size, as you can easily increase your grip size with over grips.
